Of course, our experience, knowledge and ability to complete every aspect of your job in-house are great reasons. Not every studio does wood working, custom framing and installations. But the biggest reason is our custom designs.
Have you ever noticed that many stained glass windows are "busy" with additional lines throughout the panel? And how it detracts from the overall look of the design? This is done because glass can not be cut to an inside point without using a special diamond saw. So a break line is added - typically at the end of a leaf or flower petal - to make the piece of glass easier (or possible) to cut.
At Tracy's, we painstakingly design our windows to insure all "points" end at a primary line or at the edge... Rather than just adding what seems like random lines throughout. It takes much more time and artistic talent, but in the end, that effort creates a "cleaner," more elegant look.
Notice how each leaf, petal and feather ends at a line. There aren't any random break lines to clutter the design
Conversely, you can see quite a few random break lines throughout the design giving it a "busy" or "cluttered" look.
